Description

When I decided to correct some mistakes on "My Little One Died on the Rails" (my worst!) I couldn't stop myself and started completely a new pic. (I don't know the result.) But the main concept is loneliness and surviving alone in an unkown world.

It's got a surreal mood, I like that. And the idea behind it is good, powerful. I think this piece is great, because it can be interpretted a lot of different ways, but the message (whatever it comes out to be) is still very clear and strong.

so the girl's shading and the light source are contrasting. then she is beaming like a light tower. she is using a greater tonal range than the rest of the scene. so first her highlights need to be darkened slightly, unless she is made of metal and has a spotlight on her back. then her shadows need to be brightened slightly. they are darker than the shadows in the scene. then if this doesn't change it, she also needs to be desaturated a little, she's got all this saturated green on her left side.
