Awesome manip, powerful and creepy indeed. One think I'd do is make the piper a bit less etheral, I'd have him be part of the "real world" with only giving that ghastly presence to the children. Great work nevertheless, probably just personal preference.

Just a minor thing I noticed...the white dot in the middle is a bit grabbing my attention and would love to see that without it but all in all this is just wonderful!

also, dont like the fact that the black figure isnt all in the compo but cut out at the bottom, it isnt doing the compo any service imo

I think the piper, the forest, and the mist work excellently. The children don't seem to be working as well, since they don't seem to be in the correct perspective. I agree with Kaduflyer that it'd look great if you could have made a sea of them flooding backwards into the forest.

Nice concept. I'd definitely like to see an update if you decide to do one.
